We love the shot of Vivien Lyra Blair, who plays young Leia, interacting with our pink droid. Mike spent hours on set between takes entertaining her by puppeteering the droids. He couldn’t resist keeping the magic alive for her, since she was such a huge fan of the droids. Those interactions were a huge part of what made being on the crew so amazing for him, as droid consultant and puppeteer.
