It’s always an honor and pleasure working with the Pacific Symphony, which we’ve done since 2007. Pops Conductor Richard Kaufman and R2-D2 are old friends who always enjoy a good on-stage banter. At this weekend’s concerts at Segerstrom Concert Hall, R2 played the happy birthday song, leading the audience in singing to wish John Williams a happy 90th birthday.
